There are other Editorial Assessment options out there, but they can be nearly as expensive as a Developmental Edit.

Ours is tailored for all the baby vamps (romance writers) who’ve just come into their powers (an early draft) and need some guidance.

What you get

  • A concise but thorough Report that provides actionable suggestions to solve issues with theme, plot, character development, and adherence to romance genre conventions. Typically 2-5 typed pages, our Report will give you a greater sense of big picture strengths and weaknesses.

  • Strategic in-line commentary to highlight and illustrate items in the Report. This is not line-by-line editing.

  • An optional 30 minute/$30 Zoom call add-on

You can expect your assessment to be complete in 2-4 weeks unless otherwise specified at time of booking.
